Meet the Founder
Mariam Ivardava
Founder & CEO of SkillBridge
Mariam’s journey is personal.
As a young mother, she faced the heartbreak of watching her daughter struggle without access to proper diagnoses or effective therapy for seven years. Despite endless searches, consultations, and hopes, the support her daughter needed seemed out of reach. For seven long years, Mariam faced an overwhelming challenge: her daughter remained without a proper diagnosis. Throughout those years, Mariam tirelessly sought out qualified therapists and specialists — but constantly ran into obstacles: long waiting lists, geographical barriers, lack of reliable information, inconsistent therapy quality, and enormous costs.
Instead of giving up, Mariam turned her struggles into a mission.
Determined to create a better path for her child and for families around the world, she founded SkillBridge — a platform built on compassion, innovation, and a relentless commitment to break barriers in access to therapy and developmental support.
Today, Mariam leads SkillBridge with the vision that no parent should have to fight alone, and no individual should be left behind because of where they live or how much they can afford.
Our Story Starts In 2025
SkillBridge was born from a deeply personal journey.
Mariam Ivardava, the founder and CEO of SkillBridge, is a young mother to a beautiful little girl with a heavy mental developmental delay.
Despite her relentless efforts, finding the right high-quality support for her daughter was a heartbreaking struggle. Mariam realized that countless families around the world were fighting the same silent battles — feeling isolated, helpless, and left behind by traditional systems.
From her personal journey came a powerful idea: to build a bridge — a platform where anyone, anywhere, could easily connect with verified, professional therapists without barriers. A platform where parents wouldn’t have to wait years to find answers. A platform where distance, language, and bureaucracy would no longer stand in the way of a child’s or adult’s right to grow, heal, and thrive.
SkillBridge was created to break these barriers — empowering families and individuals to access therapy, development, and hope from wherever they are, while giving talented therapists the tools and global reach to truly make a difference.
Today, Mariam’s vision fuels every step of SkillBridge’s journey: to make therapy accessible, affordable, and life-changing for all.
